Janne Leinonen has started as Chief Executive Officer of Tamturbo®. He leads the Finland-based Finnish manufacturer of 100% oil-free turbo compressors from 115 to 325 kW. The machines run on active magnetic bearings, with no oil anywhere in the air path.
The appointment was announced in February 2026 as part of Tamturbo’s planned leadership transition to accelerate the company’s next phase of international growth. Janne Leinonen brings a proven track record in industrial technology leadership, global business development, and scaling organizations. Before joining Tamturbo, he held senior leadership positions at ABB, including key roles in the Drives and Robotics businesses. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Trussmatic Oy.
As CEO, Leinonen will lead Tamturbo’s continued efforts to expand its global presence and strengthen its position as a supplier of 100% oil-free turbo compressors for industrial plants.
